Smoke Free Work Environment PolicyBlayney Crane Services Safety Policy emphasises that all employees have a “duty of care” to provide a risk free working environment for the good health and well being of all persons at the workplace. Evidence is now emerging that passive smoking may present a risk to the health of the non smoker. Therefore it is a breach of O,H&S guidelines to smoke where it has an affect on others in the workplace. In order that Blayney Crane Services and its employees conform to the Safety Policy, smoking will not be permitted by management within all amenities and site office environments. This policy will also apply to and cover all company vehicles and equipment.
